Pictures at an Exhibition

Well, friends and fans of Joella's images and both:

We are off to the art show and at the last minute I find myself trying to provide you with a look at featured presentation, Joella's "The Women of Ecuador".

I'm sorry I'm a vidiot and do not know how to post a musical accompaniment with these photos. With your indulgence, however, I'd suggest downloading a recorded musical version of either Mussorgsky's or Emerson, Lake and Palmer's "Picture at an Exhibition".
Sip some wine and enjoy. Chau, Tony

pyromaniacs

Here are some city folks we came across on an stroll one evening.

Yes, Charlie, you would have loved it. That's real fire and not a fireman in sight anywhere.

Actually, these fire balloons are only the preliminary event announcing an upcoming spectacle.

See the wooden castle-like structure on the left with flags?

Well, remember it for later.

The castle here is made entirely with fireworks. Getting excited yet, Charlie?

Notice there's no one standing to close to the castle now.

That's because nobody has any idea which direction the Roman Candles are going to go.

And, just when you think it's over...

The fireworks start up all over again.

That's me next to the castle plugging my ears because, in case you hadn't heard,
explosions are LOUD!

So, this was just a quick little entry to show some of the photos Jo's been taking over the past month. I'll try to get more of them out soon and do that more often.

Chau,

Tony
