Today, we went up to Maple Pass (2117 meters/ 6945 feet)which is higher than our first and hardest day in the Pyrenees, but that doesn't mean anything...really. The only thing that means anything is we keep training and have fun.
Gus is quite the little hiker for only being 5 months old. However, we do often carry him to not blow out his developing hips and joints. 
Four miles up and then 3 miles down: Lake Ann, Black Peak and Rainey Lake.
Smoke from the wildfires clouded distant views of peaks,
but we could breath without problem.
